“Our River” Event Series

“Our River” was a fundraising event series that took place over the year and included four unique, exciting events. Working within their brand, I developed a look and feel and designed invites, social images, and programs that maintained the consistent event branding.

My relationship with FMR began nearly a decade ago as a volunteer for restoration events. I pulled garlic mustard, hauled buckthorn, attended educational walks. As I learned about buckthorn and its impact on the Mississippi River and water quality, I found myself thinking more about how I could do my part to help protect the river. I began partnering with FMR on art & educational workshops focused on invasive species. Today, I am still fortunate enough to collaborate with them in many different capacities and still love to learn from their public outreach events.
